Studio
Four people, one room, six to eight projects a year.
Paretolane started in 2019 as a shared desk between a 3D artist and a graphic designer who kept quoting each other’s jobs. We still work that way: one project, two disciplines, no hand-off.
We are deliberately small. Everything that leaves the studio has been looked at by all four of us at least once, and most of it has been rebuilt because of something one of us noticed.
People
Ines Halberstadt
3D and lighting. Came from architectural visualisation; still refuses to render anything that couldn’t be built.
Tomas Reuter
3D, materials, film. Handles the pipeline and the parts of the job nobody sees.
Miriam Okonkwo
Identity and type. Writes the guidelines that people actually read.
Jonas Feld
Editorial and print. Knows more about paper stock than is reasonable.
—
We work with the same two photographers and one retoucher on most projects.
